So Christmas was awesome!! I got to call home to everyone which was super amazing! I´d heard i wouldn't be able to in the MTC since you haven't been out very long, but that was wrong :) I only got to talk for 30 minutes, but it was still super cool! That morning, we had a member of the twelve come in for the Christmas devotional. we had Russel M. Nelson!!! it was a really awesome experience to have an apostle come and talk to us. they gave us a big lunch for the "christmas meal". we had ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, and roles. it was actually pretty good for cafeteria food!! haha everyone got a TON of presents sent to them from family. it was really funny and kinda jacked up for the ones who didn't get much, but some people got like portable ping pong, a magnetic dart board, and fun stuff like that, so we play like every night before bed, and we have tournaments sometimes. it's pretty cool. but yeah, christmas was super fun. they had a talent show in the afternoon and my companion performed this rap he wrote. it was kinda dumb but it wasn't TOO too bad. there was a bunch of people who did piano things, and they were SUPER GOOD!!! like one person did i think like half of the maple leaf rag, and he did alright. someone else did this crazy fast piano piece. i think it was like something impromptu, by i think.... flip, i can't remember who it was, maybe bache? if that's even how to spell it, but idk, but it was SO good. today is really cool because since the temple is closed, we have ALL afternoon off until 5:30, so we're gonna go to the gym again. I think that I'm gonna start actually working out, like lifting some kinda of weighted things to somewhat not look so blobby and out of shape :) abyways, the rest of my week was pretty lame, and thank you all for the presents and gifts and love. OH, and also, mom and wilson, everyone loved the jerky y'all sent and I'm pretty sure someone stole some at some point because i thought i left this morning with like 5 pieces and got back with only 2... haha but IF you want, I'm totes fine with getting some more lol. but I love you all and hope you all had a great christmas and are having a blast in the non-snowy state :P Love, Elder Levi Windham
